GCSS-Army Finance Instructor (Ft. Hood)

The Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-Army) Program in Ft. Hood, TX has an immediate, long-term opening for an Army Financial Deployment Team member. As an Army Financial Deployment Team member your duties will include site Preparation, and Training/Facilitating New Equipment Training (NET) for units migrating from Army Legacy Financial System to GCSS-Army. Your duties may also include assisting in the creation and sustainment of GCSS-Army training materials.

Additional Duties may include:
Performs on-the-job training, skills training, and some classroom training in assembly and production areas. Participates in the development and implementation of new training programs and may introduce new processes and sequences for manufacturing areas. Maintains rosters of training progress, examination records, and certification records and may monitor trainees.

Basic Qualifications:
1. Associate's Degree with 3 years experience. Note: Additional relative experience may be substituted for education at the discretion of Northrop Grumman.
2. Must be a US Citizen.
3. Must have previous experience operating as a Financial manager/budget analyst/program analyst/resource manager/comptroller in training/operating Legacy STANFINS, RMT, dBCAS, IMAP, AFCOS.
4. Must have excellent written and verbal skills.
5. Must have the ability to brief/train a variety of audience types.
6. Must have a high proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word.
7. Must be available to travel up to 75%;
8. Must be able to stand and/or move around classrom for extended periods of time and assist in set-up and tear down of classrooms.
9. Must pass a preliminary background check, drug test and be eligible to receive a corporate credit card.
10. Must have or be eligible to obtain a valid passport and NACLAC Clearance.

The selected candidate must be prepared to learn program-specific training development software packages; must b ewilling to work with existing SAP training developers to bridge language and concepts between the legacy Army STAMIS to the SAP-based GCSS-Army system and will be required to update and maintain GCSS-Army training materials in accordance with changes to the GCSS-Army software baseline.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous military/civilian experience in instructing, developing, and maintaining training materials, previous SAP/ERP experience; College/University degree.
