Dahl-Chase Diagnostic Services, a private independent laboratory, is seeking qualified applicants for the following position: Histotech, Full-time, Monday-Friday, with Weekend Call Rotation. Qualifications: 2 or 4-year degree in a biology or science related field, experience in histology, HT, HTL preferred. Duties: Individual hired will work in a fast paced Histology Laboratory. Duties will include embedding, sectioning, special stains and Immunohistochemistry. Individual will rotate on a scheduled and occasional emergency basis for cross training including frozen section preparation and gross tissue examination. Will work rotating weekends. Professional Coder, Full-time, Monday - Friday, 8:30am-5pm. Qualifications: Individual should have experience in CPT and ICD9 coding and be certified from a recognized coding organization. An Associates or Bachelors degree is preferred. Experience with Windows, typing proficiency and medical terminology background required. Duties: Individual hired will be responsible for overseeing all procedure and diagnostic coding and assisting with our compliance program, and should be willing to assume additional job responsibilities as needed. Must have excellent communication skills (telephone, written and verbal); and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team; in a busy, high production environment.
