ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENTIST - BLDI, Inc., a Grand Rapids-based environmental engineering firm is experiencing a positive growth cycle and is looking for the "right" person for a position as an Environmental Scientist. This person is a self-motivated, detail-oriented professional. This position is a full-time, entry-level position. BLDI has a strong, team-oriented culture and seeks only people who desire such a culture. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years related experience in environmental consulting. Minimum requirements: 4-year degree in an environmental science discipline. Duties will include Phase I ESAs, field sampling, use of field instruments, field documentation and data analysis. BLDI will provide training for this Environmental Scientist position to match the task which will provide the opportunity to grow into other technical activities. Candidates must have strong, demonstrated written and verbal communication skills, PC skills, organizational skills and a driver's license with no DUI or other restriction. U.S. citizenship required.
