Overview :

Macy's, Inc. is seeking qualified candidates for the General Liability Claims Adjuster position located in Cincinnati, OH.

Key Accountabilities :

Conducting telephone interviews/investigations with customers, store associates and witnesses relating to customer accidents.
Researching and assessing legal liability and estimating potential financial exposure.
Analyzing and summarizing medical records, bills and other claim related documentation.
Development of claim values, negotiating points and strategies for resolution.
Negotiating settlements with customers and attorneys, and processing relating legal paperwork.

Skills Summary :

Bachelor's Degree
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Products(Word, Excel, etc.) and Lotus Notes.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to adhere to Best Practice Standards.
Ability to make sound quick decisions based on limited information.
Prior success in providing high quality customer service in a professional environment.
1-2 years prior claims adjusting experience a plus.
