General Manager

-Responsible for the overall recruitment, training and development of staff and performance management
-Competitive shop to understand market and recruit effectively
-Create and maintain a team environment within the store
-Develop and recruit promotable candidates for company needs

Supervision:
-Resolve interpersonal issues in partnership Human Resources
-Create, implement and lead all sales and training initiatives
-Implement and review store policies/procedures on a regular basis and ensure staff adheres to them
-Observe staff on the selling floor and their interaction with customers, co-workers and overall customer service level
-Provide in the moment and formal feedback based on observations. Share observations and next steps with GM
-Resolves escalated issues in partnership with Regional Manager
-Provide training to new hires and provide continuous refresher and specialized training, as needed, to sales associates

Business Development:
-Analyze reports to identify deficiencies and opportunities
-Develop relationships and communicate effectively with merchants
-Ensure product assortments to meet store profiles - seasonal input on buys for store
-Use Customer Relationship Management (CRM) to develop a repeat and loyal clientele

Operations & Loss Prevention:
-Ensure appropriate store controls for all company standards in all departments, i.e., payroll hours, management mix, cash, inventory, fixtures and property.
-Process Payroll in EZ labor, maintaining schedules and ensuring staff adheres to attendance and punctuality policies and procedures
-Responsible for the maintenance and organization of the daily register, banking functions, communicating and setting appointments with outside vendors that provide services for the store
-Implement and lead floor sets, inventory and all company initiatives
-Ensure store shrinkage and audit goals are achieved through sound operational execution
-Prepare, implement, and execute scheduled inventory
-Opening and closing of the store
-Oversee daily cleaning and physical up-keep of damaged areas inside and outside the store, ensure stockroom is organized and is set up properly so staff can easily access merchandise
-Manage and monitor sales figures, payroll budgets, controllable expenses, inventory control best practices and banking procedures

Communication:
-Manage and maintain current programs for optimal performance practices, including training modules, communication binder, bulletin boards, holds and damages, schedules and backroom organization
-Hold morning information and motivational meetings in partnership with management team
