The Global Commodity Manager will lead Commodity Teams which are accountable for the creation and execution of the external Supply Chain Strategy, inclusion of supplier selection and accountable for the resultant strategy.
Key responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities for the effective management of strategic direction of partners and suppliers
Ensure commercial negotiations are carried out in line with category and commodity strategies
Development of commodity strategies with existing and new supplier relationships
Lead and set standards for quality performance of the assigned products, projects and services and the execution of improvement of counter measure activities
Implement the global delivery performance of assigned commodities
Ensure appropriate functional processes and procedures are established aligning with company best practices and standards
Provide leadership and direction to the extended global team of buyers
Ensure compliance to the company's code of ethics

Requirements:
Basic:
Bachelor's Degree and 9+ years supply chain experience or Master's Degree and 7+ years of supply chain experience
Experience with strategic development of a product or program
Preferred:
Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or Operations
Experience in leadership of cross-functional teams and a proven track record in delivering results
