PTC Global Services Project Managers are responsible for the deliverables, schedule, cost, quality and profitability of one full phase of a project (duration is between 1-3 months or is a packaged solution). They build and/or maintain the project plan for one complete track and lead the PTC project implementation team towards the project objectives. Project Managers also ensure quality project execution that is in accordance with services agreements, statements of work and PTC implementation guidelines. They plan and manage the project within pre-defined budget and ensure success by delivering a solution that meets the client’s requirements of functionality, cost, and schedule.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Building and/or maintaining the project plan for one complete track.
• Leading the PTC project implementation team towards the project objectives.
• Ensuring quality project execution that is in accordance with services agreements, statements of work and PTC implementation guidelines.
• Planning and managing the project within pre-defined budget and ensures success by delivering a solution that meets the client’s requirements of functionality, cost, and schedule.
• Communicating with PTC management, client and project team regarding status and progress of project.
• Collaborating with Sales, Client Managers, Program Managers, and Solution Architects in delivery of services by determining approach, scope, and deliverables.
• Managing a small team and working to resolve staff and team issues.
• Customer acceptance of phase deliverables
• Project Estimates
• (COTS) Evaluations
• Project Documentation, including: Status Reports, Project Plans, Customer Case Studies and References, Participation in Bid and Deal, Project Reviews

Experience/Educational Requirements:

• Masters or Bachelors Degree, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Manufacturing, or similar with Technical Background
• 5+ years consulting, 3+ years Team Leader experience
• Experience implementing large/enterprise wide projects
• PLM/PDM experience required
• Course work in fundamental aspect(s) of Project Management (e.g. planning, schedule and cost control, risk management)
• Up to 75% travel and overnight stays may be required for long periods of time
• PMI Certification

Basic Qualifications:

• • Bachelor's degree
• • 5 years of consulting project management experience

**Because of the consultative nature and travel components of this role, candidates will work from home offices, and can be located in anywhere in the country**
