GMD DSC Systems Architect
This position reports to the NG Deputy to the Boeing Ground Based Mid-Course Defense (GMD) SEIT Integrated Product
Team leader. Works as part of the integrated Boeing, NG and subcontractor systems engineering team. Designs and
develops system architectures, and defines key capabilities and performance requirements. Develops thorough definition of
system external interfaces. Defines system implementation approach and operational concept. Ensures requirements are
met and evaluates performance. Responsible for developing/ updating GMD DoDAF System/Operational Views and
associated operational scenarios, sequences, and diagrams to support development, upgrade and sustainment of the GMD system. Performs analysis to support architecture
development and system design activities. Ensures the logical
and systematic conversion of customer or product
requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
Basic Qualifications: *Experience in DoDAF systems architecture requirements, processes and tools
*Expereince developing DoDAF architecture views for
complex weapon systems
*Systems engineering and product development processes and application to complex weapon systems
*Experience: 5 years with Bachelors of Science in
engineering; 3 years with Masters of Science in engineering;
0 years with PhD in engineering
*Must be able to travel
*DOD Secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications: *8 years of missile defense or large missile systems
engineering experience
*Missile Defense systems architecture development/update experience
*Rhapsody or similar tool experience
*GMD or other missile defense experience
