Posting Job Description OVERALL SUMMARY

Reporting to the Vice President, Business Operations & Planning, this position leads cross-functional teams in the planning and execution of mid to long range business initiatives for the Media Production & Operations (MPO) department and provides business support for key vendors selection progress and management.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

-Business lead for Media & Production Operations' mid to long range business initiatives.
-Provide direction over intra and inter departmental project management. Drive project execution.
-Facilitate collaboration across the Media & Production Operations team to ensure all current and future business needs are met.
-Business lead for key vendor partnerships (RFIs, RFPs, SOWs, Quarterly Business Reviews).
-Provide guidance to internal teams on corporate goals and objectives related to key vendor activity.
-Reporting and tracking of key performance metrics as it relates to vendor statement of work and deliverables, including software/maintenance agreements.
-Liaise with HBO VP Contract Administration on technology negotiations and contract compliance conditions.
-Provide leadership and management to a staff of four.



REQUIREMENTS

- 7 to 10 yrs exp in technical operations and media industry
-MBA or Advanced Degree Preferred
- Minimum 5 years experience managing Vendor Partnerships, including writing/managing RFIs, RFPs, SOWs
-7 to 10 yrs exp leading business initiatives in a matrix environment
- Minimum 5 yrs exp managing staff
-Management consulting exp in media industry
-A team player with strong leadership presence and people management skills
-Ability to effectively communicate (both verbally and in writing) to all levels of management.
-Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to grasp the big picture
-Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing, dead-line driven environment.
-Ability to excel at presenting complex information clearly to all levels of management.
