The North Berwick Parts Center (NBPC) is seeking a qualified energetic, and motivated Industrial Engineer to join our manufacturing team. The NBPC manufactures complex aerospace components for commercial and military engine programs. We are a growing business with a variety of state-of-the-art machines, tools, and processes.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct motion and time studies, work sampling, and person-machine charting as well as other industrial engineering practices.
- Apply ACE, Lean and other Continuous Improvement techniques to develop and implement process improvement initiatives aimed at increasing Quality, Delivery, and lowering our total cost of ownership.
- Lead various types of Lean events and work with our customers to get to root cause and implement lasting change.
- Design and implement factory and office layouts to optimize resources such as material, information, energy, people and machines; perform methods analysis and workstation design to improve efficiency and eliminate potential ergonomic issues.
- Engineer processes and systems that improve quality and productivity; work to eliminate waste of time, money, materials, and other resources.
- Perform factory financial analysis (e.g. project justifications and cost estimates); generate and implement cost reductions.

4+ years of experience required with a BS in Industrial Engineering
3+ years of experience with MS in Industrial Engineering
Strong manufacturing background
Proficient in the use of the complete M/S Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint required; Access, Autocad, and knowledge of a programming language is considered a plus.
