Intake Coordinator (Call Center/Intake Admissions), Full-Time, Evening Shift

Our system includes Arbour Hospital, Boston; Arbour-Fuller Hospital, South Attleboro; Arbour-HRI Hospital, Brookline; Pembroke Hospital; Westwood Lodge; Lowell Treatment Center; The Boston Center; Arbour Counseling Services, with 11 locations throughout eastern Massachusetts; and Arbour Senior Care. Arbour Health System currently has a full-time, Intake Coordinator position available located in Bostons Jamaica Plain area. We are currently seeking an individual with a background in behavioral health, healthcare or experience with Call Center/Intake/Admissions/Case Worker. This is an opportunity for current Mental Health Associates or college students pursuing a degree in Healthcare/Hospital Administration. Intake Coordinators are responsible for facilitating referrals for AHS inpatient and partial hospitalization programs. Tasks include answering phones, completing intake document efficiently, verifying insurance eligibility and benefits, providing excellent customer service, following established protocols for accepting or declining patients, and interfacing with other hospital departments and personnel. Schedule: Full-time (40 hours) Shift: Evening Hours: 4:30 pm 1:00 am (working Monday through Friday) UHS is not accepting unsolicited assistance from search firms for this employment opportunity.
