Position Title: IT Specialist
Duties/Responsibilities: Responsible for server and network configuration and maintenance including Microsoft Exchange 2003, Windows Terminal Server/Citrix Metaframe and Microsoft Server 2003 and Active Directory. Respond to users and provide technical assistance on computer system and other related hardware, software and standard applications. Install, verify, set-up, relocate, configure, upgrade and support hardware/software and peripherals including servers, PC's and network printers. Make service and repair calls to vendors and other SDHC work sites. Qualifications/Requirements:
Working knowledge of Windows 2000/2003 Server, XP Professional, Active Directory Administration and MS Office, Veritas Backup Exec and Symantec Ghost. Demonstrated experience supporting Windows 2000/2003/XP Operating Systems, Microsoft Exchange 2003 and Windows Terminal Server/Citrix Metaframe. Experience working with CISCO network equipment.
Knowledge of Server and PC hardware, operations, characteristics and configuration settings in order to troubleshoot/diagnose problems, device errors and failures.
Knowledge of standard database, spreadsheet, desktop publishing, graphics, flow charting and other PC/server software packages.
Must be highly customer service oriented, organized and an effective communicator. Ability to obtain information from users to identify needs and appropriate solutions.
High school diploma or GED equivalent; related/progressive experience; or equivalent combination of training/experience.
