Kelly has steadily become a worldwide authority on global employment solutions. Currently, Kelly IT Resources in search of an Avaya Technical Specialist for one of our clients in downtown Chicago. Candidates will use their current telephony expertise to design and deploy Avaya voice and Unified Communication solutions. This position will also be responsible for the deployment of Polycom video solutions and will gain exposure and training in Microsoft Lync 2010 solutions. Responsibilities Proven design, planning and deployment experience with Avaya IP Office. Experience with Legacy Nortel SMB platforms MICS,CICS,BCM Proven cabling experience design, installation, maintenance . Fundamental understanding of carrier services and solutions. Experience with Avaya Session Manager or Communications Manager a plus Experience with Cisco Call Manger a plus. The position will also be responsible for the following: Responsible for leadership and delivery of project based assignments that encompass system architecture, proof-of-concept and deployment services for Enterprise and Mid-Market customers. Responsible for managing smaller projects or segments of larger projects. Has moderate to heavy contact with middle and senior level executives. Requires proven project management and methodology skills. Perform system reviews of client telephony environments and prepare findings documents outlining short and long-term strategies. Strong customer relationship skills and willingness to lead customers through successful challenging projects. Establish reputation as subject matter expert in assigned technology area. Business Requirements for Position: Three years minimum experience in telephony and infrastructure technologies. Two years minimum consulting experience. Proven written and presentation skills.
