Junior Data Specialist
Junior Data Specialist SUMMARY Performing Data Services on customer mail lists, including but not limited to: Address Hygiene, Duplicate removal, sortation, cleansing and formatting by performing the duties to follow. Processes will be done for a variety of countries and using various software packages. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Domestic USPS sortation using BCC software Formatting labels (electronic and hard copy). Coordinating with Lettershop to meet time demands and expectations. Coordinating with the customer to meet time demands and expectations. Communicating with the customer regarding job criteria and specifications. Communicating with sales, customer support and other representatives regarding job specifications. Adjusting Postage Statements. Communicating with outside vendors / Lettershops and customer vendors. Printing labels / postage paperwork. Creating label templates for Print Pro and Cresendo machines. Performing Word Merges. Occasional Data Entry Other Duties as assigned Requirements: QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. REASONING ABILITY Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
