My client is in immediate need of four Lawyers for a 4 month contract to hire opportunity in New York. The maximum pay rate is $50 per hour. Office is located on Park Ave.
My client is looking for an attorney with a transactional background to be an author for its legal products group. The legal author will create, organize, and produce summaries, “how-to” type practical guidance and legal analysis in selected areas of business law. The legal author will also edit the work of other authors. An understanding of the legal issues, as well as the ability to create legal practical and analytical content in the following practice areas is necessary:
Corporate M&A Secured Financing Transactions Additionally, a basic understanding of Securities and IP is desirable. Qualifications:
- Law degree from an accredited law school - Minimum of five years of experience as an attorney in Corporate, M&A and Secured Financing Transactions - Excellent editing, legal research, analysis and writing skills - Effective written and verbal communication skills - Ability to complete assigned research and writing projects by prescribed deadlines - Must be organized, self-motivated and able to work in a detail-oriented environment - Experience drafting client alerts and/or articles for legal publications is required
