Job Description : Work as part of a team of Bosch Production System (BPS) Subject Matter Experts to develop, teach and continuously improve training packages for a variety of target audiences across the organization. Support the organization in lean manufacturing, supply chain management and administrative optimization implementation. Provide leadership and technical skills (e.g., production system design) within cross- functional project teams involving the entire value stream. Provide instruction on BPS topics including BPS Overview, Value Stream Design, Lean Logistics Basics (incl. Pull and Leveling), Standardized Work, and SteP-Up BPS courses: Working According to Standards, Pull and Leveling, and Shop Floor Management Cycle. Develop and roll out BPS-related training packages as needed. Continuously improve training packages, Coordinate facilities and attendees. Provide BPS implementation project support to manufacturing, logistics, and support operations. Evaluate current manufacturing systems to determine areas of potential improvement. Facilitate workshops related to BPS implementation such as Value Stream Design (production and administrative), Lean Line Design, and Standardized Work. Develop and deliver lean manufacturing-related training activities including classroom training, shop floor training, hands-on simulations, and kaizen events as required for manufacturing, logistics, and support operations. Analyze data to support system design (e.g., inventory calculations, lot size calculations, changeover requirements, customer pull patterns, material delivery loops). Coordinate with global Bosch central departments with respect to training packages, rollout of global standards, and assessment criteria. Provide support for BPS metrics tracking (visual management), auditing, and assessment processes. Job Requirements : •B.S. Degree in Engineering required, B.S. Degree in Industrial/Systems Engineering preferred•3+ years manufacturing experience•1+ year lean manufacturing implementation experience (direct experience with Toyota Production System a plus)•Training development and delivery experience at all levels of the organization, including the ability to share practical examples/solutions during classes•Demonstrate systems thinking and an ability to apply BPS principles in the workplace•Demonstrate change management skills and the ability to lead conversions from traditional production principles to lean•Excellent written and verbal communication skills•Some travel required
