Leave\Benefits Specialist 5
This position reports to the Leave Management Services team (LMS) that is part of the Health and Wellness Operations organization.
The incumbent must possess extensive experience with all types of leave and disability programs such as medical, FMLA, intermittent, military, personal, LOAs, as well as Short term disability (STD), Long Term Disability (LTD) and general benefits administration.
We are seeking a business analyst and project management support specialist that is able to form and lead cross functional teams across the entire leave and disability management value stream. Project management methodologies and approaches are an important part of this role.
The incumbent must be able to exert influence to create processes, policies and standard operating procedures within the LMS team, stakeholders and suppliers. The ability to integrate programs from the health insurance carriers, internal Boeing medical, workers compensation and leave management services stakeholder groups and programs is a must in order to achieve optimal business outcomes for our entire customer base.
Some responsibilities are, but not limited to:
-Provide consultation and creative solutions for our customers, business units, leadership, suppliers and system support staff to ensure successful project implementation and business solutions.
-Develop project charters, requirement documents, statement of work, scope and risk mitigation plans.
-Maintain change control procedures, project schedules and status as needed.
-Organize and/or participate in improvement and new development workshops.
-Assist with the management of employee issue resolution and root cause corrective action plans.
-Create and effectively communicate new and innovative business process design solutions that are in the best interest for both the employee and company.
-Assist the value stream to create a service culture environment that focuses on teamwork, knowledge, accountability and quality, while being an excellent company steward of our financial integrity.
-Understanding and application of complex company polices and regulatory requirements.
-Understanding and use of Lean concepts and methodologies in all that we do.
-Seek out and apply integration opportunities across our large and complex value stream.

Typical Education/Experience
Bachelor's degree and typically 15 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 13 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
