Mill Street NeuroRestorative Carbondale offers a continuum of community-based programs for adults, children and adolescents with brain injury and other neurological challenges. Founded in 1977, NeuroRestorative Carbondale was the first dedicated after-hospital rehabilitation program in the country for people with brain injuries and has continued as a leader in the field for more than 30 years. Position Summary: Currently NeuroRestorative has opportunities for Full time and Part time LPN's in the Carbondale, Illinois area. Evenings/Overnights/Weekend shifts available. We are seeking dedicated individuals to provide prescribed medical treatment and personal care services to clients in a variety of settings. Key Responsibilities:
Provides consultation, guidance, training and supervision to staff to ensure the effective implementation of medically related services as prescribed per program, physician or specialist plans, service plan and/or state regulatory standars as license permits.
Reviews medication error forms, analyzes errors and makes recommendations for procedural changes.
Monitors and ensures follow through of all medical and dental appointments in conjunction with management.
Completes health assessments and nursing care plans according to program requirements.
Performs other duties as required.
Requirements:
Current LPN licensure for Illinois
Two year college degree in nursing
Current Valid Illinois Drivers License
Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
Ability to pass Drug Screen
Ability to pass background check
Ability to attend in house training
