ARDE' a division of Pratt & Whitney Rocketdyne, is a recognized leader in the design and manufacture of aerospace pressure vessels and subsystems. Join our staff as a Machinist. Responsibilities include close tolerance machining of details and assembled pressure vessels using engineering drawings and work instructions. Fabrication of tooling to support machining as well as other processes is also required. This position is located in Carlstadt, NJ.
This position is for second shift. Position will require membership in the local Teamster union.

This position is for a skilled machinist with the following experience and capabilities:
- Must have the ability to set up and operate large and small engine lathes, drill presses, milling machines and other shop equipment
- Must be well organized, proficient with the use of standard measuring and understand GD&T
- Must have ability to work to blueprints, sketches, verbal instructions and planning sheets
- Experience with machining aerospace alloys, plastics and tool steels desired
- Ability to set-up, operate, and/or program CNC lathes is a plus
- Must be able to perform basic shop math
- Must have 7 to 10 years general Machine Shop experience
