Application Engineering Manager for Window Lift, Seat, and Sunroof Drives
Tasks: * Lead of local engineering team * Manage entire technical contract process for Window Lift, Seat , & Sunroof Drives * Identification of knowledge gaps and training of subordinates * Performance Reviews, salary, and promotion planning * Regular meetings at Hyundai, Ford, GM, & Chrysler for Seat and Window products * Review of all Engineering Changes for Window Lift Drives * Review all critical 8Ds for Window and Seat going to the customers. * OEM specification development support * Communication of NAFTA Window Lift requirements to Lead Development * Quotation reviews for new Drive requests * Regular management reviews at Tier 1 customers to ensure customer satisfaction * Support new business acquisitions * Create / Review new technical specifications
Minimum: * BS in Technical Field or equivalent experience * 10+ years in Automotive Engineering * Knowledge of electrical motors * CAD basic knowledge * Basic electric competence
Preferred: * Spanish / German language skills a plus
