Market Research & Competitive Intelligence Manager
Our client is a multi-billion dollar division of one of the leading Healthcare Products companies, seeking a Manager of Market Research and Competitive Intelligence. This is an expansion position for the division, and offers an exciting opportunity to develop the Market Research department for this larger division. Growth has been substantial, this position will contribute to their continued development. The Manager of Market Research and Competitive Intelligence will be responsible for all aspects of Global Market Research and Market Intelligence, including qualitative and quantitative research.
Responsibilities include:
Utilizes knowledge of research methods by designing, executing, and analyzing the following types of Quantitative and Qualitative Research: Concept/positioning, Completive Mapping, Syndicated Information, Product, Advertising and Pricing
Maximize use of existing research information, including data mining
Coordinate Market Intelligence projects with vendors and contractors, develop studies, use syndicated resources and other tools as needed
Provide guidance to the Regional team based on Market Intelligence
Responsible for development of research plans and managing the budget
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree a must, Master's or MBA strongly preferred
Minimum of 7 - 10 years of market research or competitive intelligence experience supporting Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, Biotechnology or Consumer Products
Previous experience at the Manager level
Experience working with SAS, research and statistical tools, Gallup and Gartner
Proven ability to develop a program and drive results
Proven track record with primary and secondary market research
