For Rent Media Solutions, a division of Dominion Enterprises is seeking a Marketing Director. This division manages the nation's leading apartment advertising magazines and websites. We are seeking a successful individual with strong Multifamily Housing background in marketing, sales and problem-solving skills to develop sales and marketing programs for our For Rent Magazine, , , and businesses and assist our sales team in selling our services. This position will be based in Norfolk, Virginia and report to the Vice President of Marketing for Dominion Homes Media. QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE: 10+ years of marketing and/or advertising agency experience. Bachelor's degree (marketing major preferred). Proven success in managing a team. Ability to work in a complex environment with high energy. Ability to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing. Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and strong quantitative skills. Strong Multifamily Housing experience. Excellent negotiation skills. Publishing and internet understanding. Computer skills to include proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Design, implement and facilitate annual marketing plan for businesses. Plan and administer Marketing budget. Develop strategic and tactical plans for all For Rent Media Solutions' businesses. Think creatively and present ideas on advertising, promotional, and sales campaigns and messaging. Manage and develop marketing department which includes both B2B and B2C managers. Assist in strategic planning for all corporate events and national trade shows. Manage Marketing suppliers. Oversee all corporate communications and public relations within the industry. Plan and execute new product launch strategies and tactical plans. Plan, create and coordinate effective sales collateral, presentations, and other materials based on in-depth understanding of the multifamily housing industry. Collaborate with the VP of Marketing and local managers on special business development projects.
