Position Overview This positionwill be primarily focused on managing the development and implementation of marketing communications, lead generation campaign management, public relations, product/partner marketing and ongoing customer lifecycle (CRM) programs.
Marketing Manager Functions · Development and management of communications and materials in support of ongoing customer lifecycle program - including new user materials, ongoing usage campaigns, newsletters and up-sell/cross-sell promotions. · Development and management of operational communications. · Supporting development of press releases and PR/IR related communications programs. · Development and management of lead generation programs (including direct mail and online). · Development and management of vertical marketing programs (legal, government, broadcasting) · Support launch of new products and existing products and programs. · Co-marketing support for key reseller, partner and customer relationships · Management of company website content. · Marketing support and event management of tradeshows/conferences · Management of internal creative resource and outside consultants and vendors. Essential Marketing Communications Functions · Development and management of lead generation programs (including direct mail and online). · Working closely with Director of Product Management to support launch of new products and existing products and programs. · Brand and messaging management · Trade show management Essential Marketing Capabilities The Marketing Manager will require the following experience or skills · Capable written communication and creative development skills · Ability to manage and maintain multiple projects at once. · Ability to represent marketing department (both internally and externally) and effectively communicate plans to internal departments and outside vendors/partners. · Strong relationship management and project management skills * Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, entrepreneurial, professional business environment * Ability to work effectively across the organization, interacting with sales, operations, business development, product development, product management, finance and technology teams * Ability to interact with all levels of internal management, partners and customer staff (C-level through entry-level line staff) Quantitative Performance Measurements/ Metrics Essential Marketing Capabilities Strong, proven written communication skills (MUST be able to write copy, draft press releases, develop sales collateral, etc). - Ability to manage and maintain multiple projects at once. - Ability to represent marketing department (both internally and externally) and effectively communicate plans to internal departments and outside vendors/partners. - Strong relationship management and project management skills - Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, entrepreneurial, professional business environment - Ability to work effectively across the organization, interacting with sales, operations, business development, product development, product management, finance and technology teams - Ability to interact with all levels of internal management, partners and customer staff (C-level through entry-level line staff) - Ability to switch between strategy, tactics and execution. - Ability to execute against both short-term deliverables and long term strategic initiatives - Strong interest and understanding of advanced technologies highly desirable - particularly video communications, IP, VOIP or telecomm.

Requirements · 3-5 years of successful marketing communications experience · Capable writing skills, with some creative design experience. · Proven track record of successful implementation of marketing communication programs * BA or BS college degree preferred
