The PPV Marketing Specialist will perform operational, marketing, and financial responsibilities to ensure optimal PPV programming on DISH Network.
Develops and implements marketing tactics and initiatives for DISH Network subscribers that will maximize revenue for Sports Package programming. Assists with overall strategy of PPV Sports Package marketing.
Identifies strategies and supports with financial projections.
Writes marketing plans for promotions.
Utilizes promotional tactics including print, on-air, online, direct mail, e-mail, interactive. application, guide publications and other options to communicate promotional messages to subscribers.
Evaluates and analyzes promotion performance on an ongoing basis and refines strategies based on results.
Conducts and utilizes financial analysis to identify product enhancements.
Assists with special projects in a project manager role as required. Includes working with other departments within the company to identify and capitalize on new opportunities.
Works closely with outside programming suppliers including NBA, NHL, ESPN, MLS and others to find joint opportunities and new-customer acquisition opportunities specific to their products.
Responsible for communicating all applicable product and promotion details to the Customer Service Centers to ensure that agents are prepared to answer questions from subscribers.
Conduct, analyze and present market research to upper management.
Manages and negotiates co-op dollars from providers.
Reviews and edits TV spots supplied by providers and assists with production of customized TV spots.
Assists with copywriting for print and on-air promotions.
May require managing one or more employees.
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or two years related experience and/or training
