Mechanical Reliability Engineer

Position Responsibilities:
• Ensuring compliance with standards and regulations associated with site operations
• Identifying, evaluating and implementing ideas to improve reliability and cost effectiveness
• Supporting the design and implementation of capital projects
• Supporting maintenance in repair and modifications to plant equipment.
• Utilizing the site management of change process to make changes to the equipment and facilities
• Develop project proposals to address plant needs and opportunities for improvement
• Utilizing reliability tools to resolve process and equipment availability issues
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively across all levels of the plant organization
• Goal and results oriented
• Strong organization and planning skills
Skills and Background Required:
• Bachelor's degree
• 5 or more years of experience in Mechanical Engineering for:
• Implementation of Preventive / Predictive Maintenance practices to maximize equipment run time
Experience Preferred:
• Experience applying statistical tools to data analysis to identify "Bad Actor" equipment (ie: Reliability Modeling, Root Cause Analysis, RCA, RCM)
• Working knowledge of compliance and engineering standards
• Demonstrated understanding/application of PPM technologies to predict/prevent failures and troubleshoot component issues.
