Mining Sales Engineer

We are currently seeking a Mining Sales Engineer to join our growing team! The candidate will be located in Bellingham, WA or Vancouver, BC.
The Challenge: You are a Mineral Processing Engineer with a minimum five years’ experience in the mining industry. You have an excellent understanding of process and process equipment so you can readily relate to operational issues. Your challenge will be to identify opportunities for greenfield and brownfield mining projects and demonstrate the value of our product offering to the owners, resulting in winning proposals.
Responsibilities: Reporting to our Vice President, Global Business Development, you will be responsible for bringing value to our customers by identifying and proposing winning solutions using our suite of products and services. You will identify new applications for our products and work with our product leads to bring these to market. Travel (30 – 50%) including international travel will be required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline (Mineral Processing degree preferred)
- Mineral processing (copper, gold, potash, iron ore, oil sands, nickel, rare earths, etc.) and control systems experience (5+ years industry experience preferred)
- Excellent technical writing and technical presentation skills
- 5+ years' previous sales experience preferred
- Spanish, written and spoken, an asset
- Knowledge of Salesforce an asset
- Driver's license and a valid passport required
