Kelly IT Resources has an opportunity for a Network Engineer in the West Michigan area. Kelly IT Resources is among the largest and most respected technology recruitment firms in the country.
The Network Engineer's role is to ensure the stability and integrity of in-house voice, data, video, and wireless network services.
Education & Certification - Bachelor's or higher degree from a recognized university in computer science, computer systems or related field or 5-7 years experience in a similar position. - Network related certifications a definite plus; - CNA - CCENT - CCNA - Etc.
Knowledge & Experience - Three to five years prior experience in a similar position and technical environment (i.e., 1,000 + users, multiple locations, MPLS and VPN connections, CISCO routers/switches, etc.) - Strong, hands-on technical knowledge of network, network software, monitoring tools and network equipment, including CISCO routers & switches. - Experience with PRTG or Checkpoint Firewalls a plus. - Excellent knowledge of IP telephony systems
