Manage the daily operations and supervise processing staff. This includes acting as the primary technical resource for both admissions operations staff and the marketing/recruitment staff on all aspects of technical support; PeopleSoft, CRM, ImageNow, IStrategy, various external source file management, all Microsoft office products, and all other hardware or software issues.
Directly supervise 3 staff members responsible for: electronic admission applications data entry, update, edits, electronic data exchanges; test score loads, RFI input/output, transcript import, analysis and evaluation, communications management; US mail, email CRM
Troubleshoot and resolve all issues as may arise with above listed technical processes. Have knowledge to identify and solve problems, and instruct staff as to appropriate corrective actions.
Knowledge and experience with PeopleSoft query as a tool to monitor and evaluate work performance, quality assurance, and to measure productivity.
Oversee all technical and operational aspects of the new PeopleSoft CRM module.
Ability to develop new campaigns as may be desired by senior management. Monitor and maintain same.
Ability to produce reports on campaign effectiveness, or other analysis as may be requested.
Significant technical expertise and knowledge of PeopleSoft language and functions to ensure high quality design and implementation of new and existing campaigns.
Over time as CRM expands beyond the Offices of Admissions, act as the technical and operational expert in developing new campaigns, ensuring consistent and accurate integration across other units, and maintain system design integrity.
Oversee all technical and operational aspects of ImageNow technology
Under the guidance of the senior management, evaluate and improve the existing ImageNow processes which support the admissions efforts for both graduate and undergraduate students.
Knowledge and expertise to develop or improve workflows within the office and across campus.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues expeditiously.
Act as primary resource for all ImageNow issues.
Represent the Offices of Admissions on the ImageNow workgroup, attend meetings and workshops or training as are available, and subscribe to appropriate listservs
Qualifications: Requires a bachelor’s degree and 1-3 years of experience with student database/enterprise systems in higher education. Additional relevant experience can substitute for the bachelor’s degree on a year for year basis. Also requires proficiency in Microsoft applications including Excel and Access; detail oriented with excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to make decisions, work independently and be a team player. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge and experience with document imaging systems such as ImageNow; knowledge and experience with CRM (customer relations management) system; and Oracle Campus Solutions (PeopleSoft) experience.
