Job Summary: The optometric tech I is responsible for assisting the provider with patient care and daily operational functions of the department. Other duties as assigned.
Experience: Prior Optometric Assistant experience or optician experience.
Education: Formal training indicated by a high school diploma or equivalent Training
Special Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills; ability to work effectively with others in problem identification and resolution.
Licensure: CPR certification recommended but not required. Certification through the American Optometric Association as an Optometric Technician preferred.
