Outside Sales Representative, Commercial Door to Door

The Business Sales Associate, Door to Door provides competitive face to face sales offers to acquisition customers as well as current TXU Energy customers. The primary purpose of the Business Solutions Sales Specialist is to acquire commercial customers through face to face sales interaction, working closely with the TXU Energy Channel Management and Operations teams. The Business Solutions Sales Specialist serves as an ambassador for the TXU Energy brand in pursuit of providing commercial prospects with affordable and competitive energy solutions. The Business Sales Associate is also responsible for making sales presentations and enrolling customers in a manner compliant to TXU Energy and PUC guidelines. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Other duties may be assigned. Candidates must: Contact commercial customers from a defined prospecting list Present competitive business solutions that meet customers needs Meet or exceed sales quotas Effectively manage prospects in their assigned sales territory Maintain records and timely complete all required reports to build a pipeline of customers for future prospecting Collect customer, market, and competitor information during the sales process to improve channel success Maintain high level of open communication and morale within the work group and among supporting work groups. Assist in presenting results/implications and recommendations to management Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements Bachelors degree preferred Limited direct energy deregulated electricity experience in business, commercial or industrial markets, including experience with customer contact or sales operations policies, procedures and processes preferred Understanding of regulated and deregulated utilities industry preferred Driving is a requirement for this job and requires a valid Drivers License Fluent, both written and oral, in the language providing support Type 35 wpm Can read, interpret and apply policies, procedures and processes Ability to negotiate in a sales environment and overcome customer resistance to sales calls and produce a customer win or retention.
