JOB: Parts Inside Sales Job Description Performance Outcomes The Parts Inside Sales Person is responsible for the efficient and professional handling of parts transactions with wholesale and retail customers. Interaction with the sales and service departments is also an integral part of this position. You will contribute to the overall effective and profitability of the department. The Parts Inside Sales Person also has the following specific responsibilities. Specific Responsibilities * Greeting Customers in a professional and courteous manner whether in-person or over the telephone. * Respond to e-mail inquirers within fifteen minutes.. * Interpret and identify the parts necessary to meet the customer's needs.. * Seek opportunities to increase sales through effective identification of additional sales opportunities with each customer. * Maintaining the parts and accessory displays in an attractive manner. * Ensure parts or supplies issued to customers are packaged appropriately and on time. * Fill orders and complete the invoicing documents. * Process payments for orders placed accurately and on a timely basis. * Understanding all warranty procedures and rules. * Locating parts not in inventory from other sources or dealerships to ensure timely delivery to the customer. * Maintain a clean and organized work area. * Execute other tasks that may be required, but are not specifically noted above. Education Required We require a minimum of grade twelve graduation. Preferred We would favour a grade twelve education with further courses or experience in the automotive parts profession.
