Peoplesoft Functional Analyst

People within Application Outsourcing are responsible for the day-to-day provision of long-term outsourcing services to one or several clients. As part of our Application Outsourcing team, you could be helping to provide the programming, management and maintenance services needed to implement and support installations of both custom and packaged application software

The PeopleSoft functional specialist is responsible for:
Identify, assess and resolve issues and problems within various PeopleSoft modules.
- Troubleshoot custom/modified objects, this includes PeopleTools Objects and Reports.
- Design solutions in line with business needs and consistent with the application architecture. Maintain an effective relationship with Client users and client team members.
- Assist other team members with developing deep functional and technical skills within the PeopleSoft applications.
- Quick response and resolution of non-discretionary items from the customers user community.
- Identify issues outside of functional/technical experience and immediately elevate to supervisors attention.
- Communicate clearly and concisely to the user community status on open issues. Ensure that the status of all user issues is communicated to the originator either at the completion of the item or as issues or delays arise.
- Ensure that all production changes are processed to according to policies and procedures and meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of implementation or support experience with PeopleSoft Systems
Minimum 1 years of experience developing PeopleSoft objects (People Tools, SQR, App Engine, Crystal, nVision, Component Interface, Integration Broker)
Minimum 1 year experience with at least 1 implementation on 8.X or later
Minimum 1 year expereince and knowledge working with any of the following PeopleSoft modules GL, AR, AP, Time and Labor, and Absence management and interaction of these feeder systems with GL.
Minimum 1 year experience creating, updating, and reviewing functional documents, user reference guides and testing and training materials.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of Government Accounting, Commitment Control
- 2 years of client facing experience
- Proven ability to create, update, and review functional documents, user reference guides and testing and training materials.
