Personnel Security Specialist
As a member of a team of security professionals supporting ManTech and Government clients, the Personnel Security Specialist will assist teammates with maintaining operational SCIFs; supporting classified meetings; assisting with security incident inquiries; maintaining databases to enable DSS inspection rating of Commendable or higher; performs periodic self-inspections for IC and DoD accredited facilities. Specific responsibilities include:
* Process SCI and collateral personnel security actions for DoD and Intelligence Community clients.
* Become a personnel security Subject Matter Expert responsible for personnel security actions for multiple agency contracts with multiple clients.
* Perform initial, refresher, and termination security briefings in addition to foreign travel and other specific briefings; process Periodic Reinvestigations as needed.
* Maintain electronic and hardcopy security files as appropriate.
* Maintain personnel security files in JPAS and other government uires Bachelor's degree or equivalent (prefer courses in government security) and zero to two years of related experience. Ability to obtain a security clearance.
