Under the supervision and direction of the Director of General Surgery/Trauma and other attendings, provides pre- and post-operative care in the General Surgery/Trauma practice of WakeMed Faculty Physicians. Functions as an educator for students and residents from healthcare education programs. Understands the needs of the organization and supports the mission, values, and management of WakeMed Faculty Physicians.
Experience Requirements : Minimum of one year in an appropriate care setting.
Education Requirements : Successful completion of AMA Physician Assistant Program
Licensure/Certification Requirements : Registered with NC Medical Board as Physician Assistant. Successfully completed National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants (National Boards).
