Physician - North Austin
Summary: Provide comprehensive occupational healthcare services including patient consultations and patient evaluations.
Principle Responsibilities:
Evaluate and treat patients in accordance with Nova Medical Centers medical model and standard of care.
Ensure compliance with licensing, certification and accrediting bodies.
Partner with Chief of Staff to assure operations are consistent with Nova Medical Centers core practice standards and policies and procedures.
Perform physical, mental status and medical history examinations; record findings subsequently
Complete all medical record documentation prior to end of shift.
Participate in new business development, when requested, to discuss health and safety needs, conduct work-place walk-though and other on-site assessments
Performs other duties reasonably requested by the Chief of Staff in accordance with Nova Medical Centers policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Current Texas Physician Permit
Current DEA and DPS licensure
Medical Degree from an accredited university.
Ability to obtain CPR Certification
Related medical experience, preferably in internal medicine, ED, family practice, urgent care or orthopedics
Proficient in basic computer skills including, data entry, internet and e-mail
Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse population
Good organizational and time management skills
Professional appearance and demeanor
Preferred:
Experience with Electronic Medical Records
