Product Designer Drafter
Hamilton Sundstrand is among the largest global suppliers of technologically advanced aerospace and industrial products. We design and manufacture aerospace systems for commercial, regional, corporate and military aircraft and are a major supplier for international space programs. Our industrial products serve industries ranging from hydrocarbon, chemical and food processing to construction and mining. Perform duties essential to the creation of a layout, dimensional, balloon sheet and parts list within a 3D solid modeling tool. Primary toolset of choice is Unigraphics NX7.5, but knowledge of other systems is also beneficial. Design experiences should include working with sheet metal, casting and machined components, composites and assemblies Advance knowledge applying Geometric Dimensioning &Tolerance GD&T in accordance with ASME Y14.5M-1994 is also required. Attention to detail a must. Good written and verbal communication skills, as they apply to explaining Standards Requirements.
Must be US Citizen to perform work.

Seeking an individual who is a team player with a high level of initiative and the ability to work in an environment of rapidly changing priorities. Must have some knowledge of manufacturing and machining processes along with strong skills in GD&T and tolerance analysis. Candidate must have solid understanding of mechanical principles. Must have knowledge and experience with both military and industry standards.
