Therapeutic Research Center is a very stable company with a 25-year track record of success and growth. The staff produces exceptionally high-quality products that are in high demand by physicians, pharmacists, hospitals, medical schools, pharmacies, pharmacy technicians, and consumers. The Center is fully accredited by the American Council on Continuing Medical Education, American College of Emergency Physicians, American Academy of Family Physicians, Accreditation Council on Pharmaceutical Education and others to provide continuing medical education credits. Therapeutic Research is located in the upscale Brookside Business Park in Stockton CA, one half hour South of Sacramento. The pharmacy technician publication and training are part of Therapeutic Research Centers family of publications and services for pharmacists, physicians, nurse practitioners and other medical professionals. The Center is a leading publisher for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians throughout the United States. The new manager will work full-time in our Stockton, CA office (we are not looking for telecommuters right now). The culture is very comfortable, yet professional with a strong emphasis on results. The Product Manager must be an energetic capable marketer with the expertise and passion to lead the growth of a highly successful publication and nationwide training program for pharmacy technicians. This includes participation in strategic planning and responsibility for tactical execution of marketing initiatives.

The new Product Manager will work alongside product managers for other publications, as well as colleagues in editorial, information technology, and management. The Product Manager will be immersed in implementing new initiatives, website analytics, architecture, e-mail campaigns, landing pages, conversions, paid-subscribers, social media, blogs, and webinars. This person will communicate well with colleagues, think clearly and creatively, and aggressively meet goals in a very fast moving environment. Experience in online publishing for a subscription-based publication is preferred, and familiarity with the pharmacy technician profession is highly desirable.



Requirements:

Roles and Responsibilities: - Be the product champion and leader. - Manage the entire spectrum of activities related to the publication, including marketing, accreditation, and fulfillment. - Identify opportunities for process improvements and following through to implement. - Effectively collaborate with business, marketing, and technical teams to develop requirements and drive projects to successful completion. - Communicate strategy, project status, conflicts, and resource needs to executive management. - Determine and evaluate success metrics to measure the effectiveness of each initiative. Education and Experience Required: - Bachelors degree preferred. - Experience in pharmacy, as a technician, pharmacist, or other role, is highly desirable. - 2 years of website product management experience, with proven track record of success in managing and growing a brand. - Excellent project planning and management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once. - Outstanding team player with the ability to coordinate people and activities across multiple functional disciplines. - Excellent communication and organizational skills. - Excellent analytical skills.
