Lexicon, Inc. offers a unique capability of fabrication, erection, and mechanical installation services. We are seeking candidates available for immediate employment as a Production Supervisor at our Little Rock, Arkansas facility.
The Production Supervisor's Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include:

Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in fabrication and assembly of structural steel and/or plate, applying knowledge of layout, product design, machine function, capacities and output, properties of metal and strength of materials.
Analyzes work orders and blueprints to determine information, such as material to be used, type of operations, and sequence of operations required.
Schedules hours for all shop workers. Performs hiring, termination, counseling, performance appraisals and safety.
Examines defective machinery to determine cause of malfunction and reports the need for machine repairs.
Trains workers in operation of equipment. Sets up and operates machines to make test runs and experimental products. Inspects work in progress and finished products.
Adheres to all company safety and OSHA regulations.
Performs non essential duties as needed.
RELOCATION PACKAGE AVAILABLE
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent with Vo-Tech training.
Minimum 7 years’ experience in a steel fabrication shop.
Requires at least 2 years’ supervisory experience.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
Excellent organizational skills, oral and written communication skills and basic math skills required.
Basic knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations.
Must have welding experience. Working knowledge of blueprints and drawings.
