    Jubitz Corporation recently expanded its mobile refueling team to include ownership of Vancouver Oil Company.  This purchase has resulted in the expansion of our customer base, which makes it possible for us to hire two (2) new members for our Mobile Refueling Team.

    Minimum requirements include:

    • Class "B" WA and/or OR CDL w/ Tanker, Hazmat, and Airbrake endorsements;
    • Clean MVR;
    • TWIC is highly desired;
    • Willing and able to pass a pre-employment DOT physical and Drug Screen;
    • Must provide verifiable references demonstrating a strong three - year prior work history as a CDL driver, preferably in the refueling industry;
    • Must be available and willing to work any day/ any shift.
    Requirements:

    SUMMARY: The Mobile Refueling Driver is responsible for the timely and courteous fueling of customer equipment on a pre-arranged and periodic basis.  They are required to exercise safety and common sense in the operation of Company equipment and the reasonable consideration of Customer’s property and equipment.  The following duties are performed in a timely manner, thereby contributing to the overall success and growth of the division.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

     

    1. Daily pre-trip & post-trip inspections, and completion of Driver’s logs.

     

    1. Learn account particulars and ensure the customer is being serviced correctly.

     

    1. Complete daily and periodic paperwork accurately, including proper reconciliation of inventory balance in the Symbology system, and on their daily inventory paperwork.  Complete all designated paperwork – including details as required.

     

    1. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and serviceability.  Perform basic repairs as needed (replace lights, nozzles, etc.).  Inform supervisor of equipment conditions, account changes, customer service problems.

     

    1. Observe all DOT, DMV, Jubitz, Customer and commonsense safety practice while delivering fuel at customer’s facility.

     

    1. Inform supervisor of equipment condition, account changes, and customer service problems.

     

    1. Load fuel at the Jubitz Rack or designated fuel terminal.

     

    1. Learn and properly use the handheld computer system on the truck. This will track load times, travel times, fueling times, breaks and other time used on a route.

     

    1. Follow company policy.

     

     

    SECONDARY DUTIES:

     

    1. Procedures- Learning and fulfilling Regulatory, Company and Customer fueling and operating procedures.

     

    2.        Paperwork- Learning and completing required paperwork daily and periodically with

               consistency and with legible handwriting.  Accuracy is of the utmost importance.

     

    1. Safety- Operating Company equipment on the road and at the Customer’s property in keeping with all applicable safety regulations and commonsense practices.

     

    1. Production- While operating in a safe fashion, the Mobile Refueling Driver is expected to master the steps of delivering fuel productively and efficiently.  Gallons and efficiency are monitored and it is expected that a progression of increasing production will be evidenced during the first 90-day period.  A standard of performance will be discussed with the driver after hiring and evaluation of the driver’s route.

     

    1. It is expected that the Mobile Refueling Driver will have Jubitz best interests in mind and be looking to enhance communication and build rapport with customers.  It is also expected that the Mobile Refueling Driver will look to grow the Mobile Refueling business by turning in leads that are thought to benefit Jubitz. 

     

    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

     

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Two years experience driving Class A or Class B vehicles.  Must have Hazmat, Tanker and Airbrake endorsements. Experience with fuel delivery or other fuel handling is preferred but not required.

     

    LANGUAGE SKILLS:  Must have good command of the English language and English writing skills.  Ability to read route sheets, instructions on route sheet or memo’s, map’s and the handheld computer. Ability to and write daily reports including Inventory reports, Driver inspection reports, driver log books and other documentation as may be needed.

     

    REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. 

     

    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to do basic mathematical calculations.

     

    OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

     

    Must be willing to operate as a member of a team, despite normally working alone. All drivers are expected to help out if another team member is sick or has an equipment malfunction that would lead to a service failure.

     

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

     

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand or walk for a minimum of 8 hours. They will be required to handle a fueling hose which is up to 150 feet in length. The employee may be required to climb on top of their truck to check inventory or to transfer fuel from one compartment to another, or one truck to another.

     

    At customer’s sites, they may be required to climb up on equipment in order to fuel it.

     

    The employee must occasionally lift up to 120 and/or frequently move/push/pull up to 200 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Good night vision is also important as much of the work is done during the nighttime hours

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to airborne particles, caustic fumes, moving mechanical parts, and is at risk of electrical shock.

     

    The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate. Two-story building with no elevator service.  Overtime may be required with approval of supervisor.
