Project Manager
LoneStar Marine Shelters is a fabricator of offshore steel Living Quarters and other various steel buildings and structures for the oil & gas industry. The selected candidates report directly to the President and will be the primary contact representative with the client. Must have the abilities to strategize, prioritize, plan and schedule all activities relative to the project to insure timely delivery to the client. Duties:
* Responsible for overall project execution including cost containment, schedule adherence, safety/environmental standards compliance, client satisfaction with overall job & project profitability. * Coordinate with Engineering discipline leads to Interpret / define client supplied specifications and company bid packages to assure project meets clients specifications and responsible for resolving any discrepancies * Compile project design packages to submit to client and third party regulatory agencies for review and acceptance. * Coordinate with Operations to generate a production schedule and update as required to keep client advised of progress. * Evaluate vendor proposals and interface closely with purchasing department to insure the timely order placement and delivery of materials / equipment to meet requirements of the production schedule. * Direct and assist documentation personnel to prepare final project data books * Responsible for monitoring project milestone payment schedule to assure timely submittal of invoicing is done. Help prepare accounts receivable invoicing and assist with collections as needed.
Desired skills and experience a Plus: * Familiar with current ABS, USCG, DNV guidelines for building and classing offshore buildings. * AutoCAD capabilities * Three to five years as a Project Manager * Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills * Bi-lingual: English / Spanish a plus
