Project Manager-Industrial Manufacturing/Contract Review/Quality Assurance
Global manufacturer located in the Los Angeles area is actively interviewing for a Project Manager that is a degree Mechanical Engineer and is experienced in managing complex large dollar value projects. Candidate must be cool under pressure and bring high energy to the project. Salary is commensurate with experience and skill. Relocation is offered for eligible candidates.
Responsibilities:
-> Provide project support for commercial industrial utility projects starting with contract review to shipment.
-> Function as the client point of contact for all changes, schedules, customer inspections, order execution, project questions, etc.
-> Manage supplier quotes, purchase orders, expediting of materials and communication of requirements
-> Communicate with management and sales, update job status, support internal QA requirements and initiatives,
Requirements:
-> Bachelor?s degree in Mechanical Engineering
-> Must have managed a number of large complicated industrial projects simultaneously, with dollar value around $8 Million.
-> Must be experienced with projects that require an understanding of manufacturing processes, fabrication standards and blue print interpretations for industrial applications.
-> Must have experience working with multiple projects where you are the Customer Point of Contact, work with Suppliers and must effectively communicate and work with Internal Personnel to meet project requirements and schedules.
-> Experience with Quality Requirements outlined in the ASME Code and/or Nuclear 10 CFR 50 App B standards is a definite plus.
-> Knowledge of rotating equipment or mechanical pumps is a definite plus.
-> PMP certification highly desirable, but not required
-> Must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident
