Our National Security Global Business is seeking a Protection Operations Specialist to support and represent US Marine Corps intelligence interests and programs within the Multiple Threat Alert Center (MTAC) at Quantico, VA.
Position Responsibilities
* Apply experience and knowledge of intelligence principles, specific field expertise and knowledge of Marine Corps operations to complex problems.
* Apply advanced technical knowledge and experience to facilitate the development, implementation and operation of a comprehensive threat intelligence program focused on the US Marine Corps.
* Perform liaison with other Services and Government Agencies within the operational sphere of the MTAC to share information, explain and advocate Marine Corps intelligence requirements and facilitate a common understanding of threat intelligence.
* Collect and analyze threat data, investigate and qualify data sources, conduct research and perform detailed analysis in order to develop actionable operational intelligence products.
* Develop and maintain analytical procedures to meet changing requirements.
* Develop technical intelligence solutions to complex intelligence problems requiring the regular use of ingenuity and creative thinking.
* Assess and identify intelligence/security/force protection vulnerabilities in preparedness, prevention, mitigation, response and recovery and assist in developing solutions to manage identified risks.
THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS MUST BE MET TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION:
* US citizenship.
* Active TOP SECRET Security Clearance with SCI (TS/SCI).
* Bachelor's degree with 9-12 years of relevant experience, Master's degree with 7-11 years of relevant experience or a PhD with 5-9 years of relevant experience.
* Five years US Marine Corps intelligence experience gained from operational assignments.
* Exceptional writing, speaking, briefing, interpersonal and negotiating skills. The successful candidate will develop and deliver analysis and briefings; develop and provide assessments and recommendations to senior service and agency officials and represent Marine Corps interests and requirements within discussions.
* Strong analytical skills.
* Strong work ethic, high self-motivation, positive attitude, goal orientation with the ability to get things done.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, adjust to changing client focus and priorities, successfully multi-task and set individual work priorities.
THE FOLLOWING IS DESIRED, BUT NOT REQUIRED TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION:
* Experience with the Marine Corps Planning process, operations analysis, process mapping and analysis and change management.
* Familiarity and experience with the missions, operations, installations and structure of the US Marine Corps.
* Immediate availability.
