Our National Security Global Business Logistics Services Group is seeking an experienced Military Working Dog (MWD) Handler Subject Matter Expert (SME). This position is an hourly pay scale based on qualifications and experience.
You will be providing SME support and developmental assistance during the production of Individual Training Plans (ITP) and all associated training materials, as well as critical task analysis for several US Army Military Working Dog training for battlefield, Counter Improvised Explosive Device (CIED) and law enforcement operations. Additionally, you will assist with the development of the Course Management Plan and Cost Benefits Analysis for each course developed.
Primary job responsibilities include, but not limited to:
· Provide SME review and assist in the update and/or development of ITPs
· Provide SME review of an Individual Critical Task List report
· Provide SME review and assist in the development of Lesson Plans and PowerPoint Presentations with all critical task steps incorporated into lesson plans
· Provide SME review and assist in the development of all Practical Exercises for all Enable Learning Objectives within each lesson plan
· Assist in the preparation of a Course Management Plan for all courses developed
· Assist in the Preparation of a Cost Benefits Analysis for each course developed
· Provide SME review and assist in the development of the end-of-course examinations for each course developed
THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS MUST BE MET TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION:
· Must have a minimum of ten (10) years military experience with a minimum of three (3) years working with US Army MWD.
· Must be familiar with developing instructional material, such as Programs of Instruction (POI), Course Management Plan (CMP), and Cost Benefit Analysis as well as perform administrative management of course related material
· Must be familiar with TRADOC Regulation 350-70.
· Must possess strong organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills
THE FOLLOWING IS DESIRED, BUT NOT REQUIRED TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION:
·Possess experience and skills with MS office and other computer applications and software
·Possess a DOD Secret security clearance
·Work with military, government civilians and other contractor personnel as part of project work
·Successfully completed a comprehensive formal professional dog trainer's course.
·Possess a US Army Instructor Training Course (ITC) certificate or another military branch equivalent.
