Quality Control Inspector
This position inspects all fabrication and construction work to ensure it is performed in accordance with project plans and specifications and complies in all respects with standards and methods set out in the project Quality Control Plan and with customer requirements and specifications. This positon also conducts quality assurance surveillance on materials and services provided by vendors, fabrication facilities and subcontractors.
Carries out all quality control activities, including inspection, examination and testing to verify quality of welding, installed materials and finished work comply in all respects with project specifications and requirements.
Ensures work processes adhere to all API 4F and ISO 9001 requirements, company policy and specifications.
Requirements:
High School Education or equivalent or as deemed sufficient by Management.
1-5 years Quality Control inspection experience required.
Must have a current AWS Certified Welding Inspector Certificate.
Experience with structural and pipe welding and associated non-destructive weld testing procedures required in accordance with customer specifications.
Oil and Gas industry preferred.
Must be able to read, write and speak English.
Must have working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Windows XP.
