RESEARCH ASSOCIATE II Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center The Department of Pharmacology at the LSU Health Sciences Center New Orleans ( /pharmacology/ ) is seeking an experienced full-time Research Associate to participate in research focusing on the central neural regulation of blood pressure and fluid and electrolyte homeostasis in animal models. The candidate must have a Bachelors degree in a basic or health science with three years of professional level experience. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment are required. Applicants should have experience in laboratory bench work, data collection and data analysis. A background in integrated physiology and experience of standard molecular biology techniques is highly desirable. Duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, setting up and maintaining equipment, completion of experimental protocols, data analysis and record keeping.
