A job shop contractor specializing in sheet metal fabrication and stamping is looking for a Sales Engineer - Sheet Metal Fab. & Stamping in the in the Central Ohio area. This Company is looking for a proven team member who has a minimum of 5 years of successful sales experience finding new customers. Candidates should be able to multi-task, demonstrate that they are a self-starter with excellent follow-through skills. They also are a proficient closer.
The Sales Engineer meets with potential clients, understands their needs and recommends technical solutions. Candidates should have a history of solution based sales experience and increasing revenue. The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to: prospecting, value added selling, closing deals and negotiating contract terms. The Candidate must be able to demonstrate his/her past ability to seek and secure new Customers.
This position is based out of a home office with travel as directed.
Requirements:
Attributes
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business preferred
5+ years of demonstrated success selling for a job shop specializing in Sheet metal/metal fabrication/metal stamping
Comfortable working out of a home office with travel throughout the New England area
Business Development focused – must be aggressive and motivated to bring in new business
Strong customer service skills with multi-level communications skills
Experience with SolidWorks a plus
High level of determination and integrity
Proficient in Word, Excel, and executing Power Point Presentations
Candidates must have a history of sales success to stand out. We're looking for examples of meeting or exceeding sales quotas especially with new customers, experience driving growth/revenue, rewards/achievements.
