Kelly IT Resources has an opportunity for a Business Manager/Analyst in the West Michigan area. Kelly IT Resources is among the largest and most respected technology recruitment firms in the country.
Job Description The primary duties of this Business Analyst will be as the primary contact for the Finance and Controlling modules of SAP as well as providing overall SAP integration management and direction. The successful candidate must have strong working knowledge and experience with the Finance and Controlling modules of SAP and a good working knowledge of SAP integration. To be considered for this role - you must have at least eight years of current working experience in a corporate environment as a Business Analyst with SAP in the Finance and Controlling Modules. Experience managing technical resources is a plus.
Responsibilities: -Performs complex analysis of business goals, objectives and needs of the general business environment and may create complex functional and technical specifications and flowcharts. -Performs complex planning and design of business processes and systems. Develops recommendations for complex changes to improve and support business activities. May facilitate complex business case development planning and initiation, responding to budget/plan changes, perform ad hoc planning requests and evaluations. -Performs full range of standard work for the professional field. Refers complex, unusual problems to others. Identifies and resolves more complex problems and applies problem-solving skills in order to deal with most situations. -Assists in development of the strategic technology plan. -Assigns staff to project work, directs their activities as required and provides feedback to ensure accomplishment of objectives. -Conducts annual reviews and manages salary levels of staff. -Develops and manages departmental budget. Maintains liaison with the business community for identification of SAP support requirements and strategy. -Typically BS/BA in related discipline or advanced degree. -Demonstrates and applies a broad knowledge of field of specialization through successful completion of moderately complex assignments. -Successfully applies complex knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of particular area of specialization. -Demonstrates knowledge of organizations business practices and issues. -Typically 8-10 years of successful experience in related field and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above. -Coordinates and supervises the daily activities of the technical team. -Primarily intra-organizational contacts and external contacts.
