Senior PWB Designer, Drafting/Design Services
Hamilton Sundstrand is among the largest global suppliers of technologically advanced aerospace and industrial products. We design and manufacture aerospace systems for commercial, regional, corporate and military aircraft and are a major supplier for international space programs. Our industrial products serve industries ranging from hydrocarbon, chemical and food processing to construction and mining. Self-starting, detail-oriented, team member will be working under minimal direction by senior engineering personnel. Designer will be responsible for the preparation of electronic schematics, designing multi-layer, high-current rigid and rigid-flex printed wiring board layouts, fabrication drawings, and assembly drawings. Circuit boards will be used in harsh environments and must able to pass stringent environmental and EMI tests. Must be experienced in the use of Cadence Concept and Cadence Allegro software, version 16.2 or higher. Working knowledge of Zuken Visula, Gerbtool, Catia CCDraft, and Teamcenter V8 PDM systems is highly desirable. Possess a working knowledge of ANSI Y14.5M geometric tolerancing and HS standards. Checking the work of other employees and serving as a mentoring resource for this skill position, are expectations of this job function. Strong organizational skills are required in this small, fast-paced electronics engineering group. Designer will also participate in company driven ACE and Standard Work initiatives. Some system administration work as required to archive completed projects and to set up new projects. The ability to work well with others and to be flexible in a constantly changing environment is highly desirable. US Citizen or Green Card Holder
