Senior Software Engineer
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to redesign and streamline our instrument control and data analysis software using current software technologies and design methods.
Gamry’s software is implemented using wide range of technologies including Win32, VB, graphic user interfaces, databases, scripting, numerical analysis, communications protocols, embedded processors, device drivers, and signal processing.
Knowledge of real time data acquisition, signal processing, advanced mathematics (simulation, optimization) would be an advantage.
Responsibilities:
Analysis of current code base.
Redesign existing codebase using a modern GUI/Embedded Python environment.
Design, implement new UI tooling.
Drive Agile development process.
Work with testing department to design & implement testing protocols
Requirements:
Proficient in modern software practices
Knowledge of software pattern architecture and OOD
Knowledge of embedded scripting languages Python, IronPython.
Knowledge of C#/.Net 4.0/WPF or C++/Qt.
Knowledge of UI design for usability.
6+ years of software development.
Degree in Software, Computer, Electrical Engineering, or Physical Sciences.
