JOB: Cashier Job Description Outcomes # The role of the Cashier is to support the efforts of all departments. You will contribute to the overall satisfaction of our customers through the efficient and friendly approach you bring to you work. Specific Responsibilities * Answering service calls and booking appointments when necessary. * Entering technician time ticket information for payroll. * Posting warranty payments. * Receiving and distributing dealership service department email. * Download warranty claims to the manufacturer. * Reviewing and reconciling denied claims. * Creating monthly reports for the service and parts departments. * Reconciling cash receipts on a daily basis. * Posting invoices on completed internal work orders. * Register technicians for training as required. * Monitor all training schedules in the Fixed Operations Departments and communicate requirements to department managers.. * Carry out other duties and tasks as required by the fixed operations manager. Skills * Excellent typing skills. * Excellent computer software skills including us of MS Office and Dealership Software Systems * Ability to work with many different people. Other Qualifications * Previous automotive dealership experience. * Ability to work quickly on multiple tasks. * Ability to stay calm under pressure.
